FAVORITE RIVER: Pine Creek section of the Arkansas River
BIO: Scout Mattison has enjoyed paddling whitewater for as long as she can remember. She began guiding for Timberline Tours in 2020 to share her love of rivers with others. She spends half the year paddling and studying in Oregon, but here favorite rapids are here in Colorado on the Pine Creek section of the Arkansas River. Although Scout is currently studying journalism, she hopes to never get a “grown-up job.”
