The Numbers section of the Arkansas River offers an intense yet spectacular whitewater rafting experience close to the Vail Valley. With continuous rapids that are numbered instead of named, The Numbers is a technical section of Class IV river that makes for an athletic, action-packed, and fast-moving trip. Teamwork is the name of the game here. In the milder sections, Colorado’s majestic mountain peaks will awe you with their beauty, and you’ll also enjoy Swiss Cheese Rock, a surprise highlight that comes near the end of the trip.
