Browns Canyon

Browns Canyon offers one of the nation’s most popular intermediate whitewater rafting experiences close to the Vail Valley. This stretch of the Arkansas River is full of exciting Class III pool-drop type rapids, and the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range along with the Collegiate Peaks provide a dramatic backdrop not to be missed.

This solitary stretch of river travels through a classic but majestic Colorado canyon, and it’s an exciting rafting trip for all ages. With ten miles on the river and a riverside, lunch, this trip is an excellent, family friendly rafting adventure.

Minimum age and weight:

8 years old and at least 50 pounds
