Browns Canyon offers one of the nation’s most popular intermediate whitewater rafting experiences close to the Vail Valley. This stretch of the Arkansas River is full of exciting Class III pool-drop type rapids, and the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range along with the Collegiate Peaks provide a dramatic backdrop not to be missed. This solitary stretch of river travels through a classic but majestic Colorado canyon, and it’s an exciting rafting trip for all ages. With ten miles on the river and a riverside, lunch, this trip is an excellent family-friendly rafting adventure.

Approximate Meet and Drop-Off Time:

This trip requires guests to drive to our boathouse in Granite. Please meet at 9:30 am. **Plan for a 1.5 hour drive from Vail (see map for directions)

Approximate return to boathouse is between 2:30 and 3:00.
